PUBLICATION ETHICS

JIKARA is committed to maintaining the highest standards of publication ethics and takes all possible measures against publication malpractice. All parties involved in the publication process (editors, reviewers, authors, and publisher) must agree to ethical standards as outlined below.

1. Duties of Authors

  • Authors must submit original work that has not been published elsewhere.

  • Proper citation and acknowledgment of sources are mandatory.

  • Plagiarism in any form is unacceptable.

  • Authors must disclose any conflict of interest.

  • All co-authors must have significantly contributed to the research.

  • Manuscripts must not be submitted simultaneously to another journal.

2. Duties of Editors

  • Editors are responsible for publication decisions based on academic merit.

  • Editors must evaluate manuscripts fairly without discrimination.

  • Confidentiality of submitted manuscripts must be maintained.

  • Editors must avoid conflicts of interest.

3. Duties of Reviewers

  • Reviewers must provide objective and constructive feedback.

  • Confidentiality must be maintained.

  • Reviewers must disclose any conflict of interest.

  • Reviewers should identify relevant published work not cited by authors.

4. Ethical Oversight

  • Research involving human participants must state ethical clearance (if applicable).

  • Data fabrication and falsification are strictly prohibited.
